Recently the HRLHA (Human Rights League of the Horn of Africa) has reported new imprisonments of thirteen Oromos in Dambi Dollo District in West-Ethiopia. The Human Rights League of the Horn of Africa has also received a report from its correspondents in Borana Zone, South of Oromia, that seven young Oromos have been arrested in the first week of July 2012 in the border town of Moyale after their arrival from Addis Ababa. For further information you can check the official HRLHA-report.

In addition to that the HRLHA strongly criticizes the TPLF/EPRDF Government of Ethiopia in reference to the handling of the country-wide peaceful protests by Ethiopian Muslims that have been going on for months. The HRLHA is reporting that a handful of worshippers have been killed and that thousands have been arrested and imprisoned. You can download this report also right here.
